Ever dreamed about staying in Antarctica in luxurious style? Here's your chance to do so! First let's read the article and try to answer the questions below!
If you love cold weather, travel company White Desert's new Antarctic campsite could be the perfect place for you.
The campsite is named Echo and includes six luxury "Sky Pods" — bedroom pods made to look like something you'd find in space.
Each sleeping pod has a washroom and a bed space for two guests. There is also a group of larger pods where guests will find the campsite reception, showers, a dining room and lounge.
The sleeping pods have floor-to-ceiling windows, so guests can really enjoy the moon-like Antarctic landscape around them. It's an expensive view, though, with prices starting at $55,000 per person for a six-day experience.
That experience includes traveling by private plane from Cape Town, South Africa, to Antarctica. When the guests arrive, they can enjoy a martini made using 10,000-year-old ice. Food is included in the price and is made by a personal chef.

There are a number of activities that guests can take part in at the Echo campsite. These include tours of the area around the campsite, and visitors can even go to see a colony of 28,000 emperor penguins. There is also skiing, abseiling and ice climbing. Guests can even try sleeping out in a tent for a night instead of their warm pod.
Echo is one of three campsites White Desert now has in Antarctica, all in an area more than 4,000 kilometers south of Cape Town.
Like the other camps, Echo can be taken down at the end of White Desert's camping season — which is from late November to the end of January — leaving nothing behind.

1. How many Sky Pods does the Echo campsite have?
2. How do guests get to the campsite?
3. What are some of the activities guests can enjoy while staying at Echo?
4. What kind of animals can you find there?
Pretty interesting, huh? Do you want to talk about this article together with us? Book a lesson and let's have a chat! :)
